I’m not big on writing bios. I suppose the typical third-person profile that sounds like it came from some kind of documentary is the standard ever since I can remember. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course. Let me deviate, however, from that standard and convey a simplified first person account. I’ve worked, at one time or another, at just about every end of this industry: session-musician, touring-musician, band member, instructor, songwriter, arranger, orchestrator, music transcriber, music engraver, audio engineer, producer, A&R, studio owner. I’ve had the opportunity to release several recordings of my own and be a contributor to many others, score for film, sync license, etc. I’ve also had the honor of receiving some songwriting awards. It’s a tough business with more talent out there than available positions. I feel blessed every time a new gig comes along. Thank you to all my supporters. It means more to me than you will ever know.
